The Community Transformation Group (CTG)--an umbrella coalition with the Aim: To facilitate the building of community partnerships for community transformation locally, nationally and globally.

The Vision of CTG is to develop a community of individuals committed to self-actualize our human potential to create positive transformation of the human community.

The mission of CTG is to create   physical /emotional spaces and processes in community that promotes individuals functioning from their core so that they can make more powerful life choices, and to promote the use of resources to support making those choices.

Why CTG:
1. The present application of motivation science is clinically inadequate.  We can correct that.
2. The present application of prevention science is culturally inadequate. We can correct that.
3. The present economic structure to finance community work is inadequate.  We can correct that.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES: 
We invite like-minded individuals from all walks of life to join us in building a sustainable network community based on:

OBJECTIVES
Develop a community structure to support and promote development of the health and wellness of the community workers.

 Develop a community based academic structure to promote excellence in community   work. (A “Community University Without-Walls.”)

Develop the clinical and academic articulation of the application of evidence- based cognitive behavior model in a more holistic strength–based manner tailored more appropriately fit the culturally diverse needs of our community.

Develop a standing structure to promote inter-individual/organizational collaboration to   provide collaborative leadership at the community level.

Develop a structure which can authoritatively reposition and /facilitate   community through individual and organizational collaboration to address the distribution of resource.

Develop a community structure which can support locality community groups’ efforts to competitively apply for cross-sector community grants.
