Essay Contest
Essay Contest @Korebonee on Fridays @ 8:00pm
The goal of the contest is to invite individuals to develop (and share)
their stories and to encourage discussion around the one
social identity that we all share: We are all humans!!!
Essentially this process is a beginning of writing one’s own
life manual for oneself. While we encourage written essays,
we are open to essays taking other than written forms,
e.g. poetry, song, theatre, etc
What Does Being Human Mean to You?
Join the conversation that bonds us ALL!!!

We originally were awarding monetary prizes, but we have come to realize that would be perpetuating external reward structure. The first prize for writing the essay is the gift of the process that you will be giving to yourself (internal reward), and the second prize is the gift of the social space for sharing which Vaya will be providing, and the third prize are the connections you stand to make with others from sharing.
“What Does Being Human Mean to You?" is really a simple question. At the same time, it is a very complex question. We recognize that many of us have been exposed to different forms of this question. But what we offer at Vaya is a systematic tool, Human Core\Community Process (HCP) in the form of a course to help answer this question. At the end of this course the participants will not only have acquired a deeper grounding in their humanity, but also have been exposed to a technology which they can apply to become more financially successful in life, more accomplished in their jobs and career. In addition, it is a tool which they can share with friends, family, and community to make these pieces in their lives stronger. To find out more about HCP training click here.
